Everything about it is bad except the music.

Melvinsgamefountain responds:

its not my fault your the same as the rest

Fun game, nice graphics. Best of all it had a good difficulty level.

Junjo responds:

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy the dificulty level, many people found it very hard (in hard mode, I mean).

very boring and annoying game. The only way could get anywhere was button mashing.

Kwing responds:

Well fuck.

Story and graphics were cool. I prefer being able to aim + fire with mouse 100% more than the system in this game.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Thanks, glad you liked the game! I think most people prefer to use the mouse to aim and fire in games like this and I'm sorry the controls frustrated you a bit. I made this game for the ones who prefer to use the keyboard like in Alien Hominid and Earth Worm Jim etc. I'm one of those people and there aren't many games that uses this control setup. So I decided to make one. Luckily there are a million other games like this that uses the mouse for the ones who prefer that. Sorry if this was a bit frustrating, just wanted to explain myself a bit. Thanks for still voting fairly and for giving me a very nice score :)

Good concept.

Nice concept but the correlation between the music playing and the bullet patterns was very weak, I could barely notice it, needs some work. Also the game play itself was very boring and unchanging. I would definatly not pay money to play this game as it.

Tzai responds:

Hi Createure, the music syncs a lot better in later levels when the bosses are more aggressive in their bullet patterns. The extended version lets you upload you scores so you can compete with others for the best scores for your favourtie tunes.

Some cool elements.

Cool artwork, narrative and music.

The control and movement was somewhat original and interesting. But killing those waves did get kinda boring after a while. Also some controls could be made a little smoother, like being able to jump while facing up, or crouching, instead of having to release the up/down key before jumping.

Liked it better than the average game I play though, so I'll give it a 10.

(p.s. I generally really prefer shooting platform games where you can aim with the mouse and the keyboard is just for movement... guess you decided not to do that though... shame :/ )

Torrunt responds:

You can jump while aiming up or crouching, you don't have to release the up/down key. Not sure why it wasn't working for you :S

I prefer shooting games where you aim with the mouse also but it just ended up this way. If we make another shooting game we'll most probably make sure it's mouse controlled.

kinda cool

Well like you say it's a sequel in the making, needs alot of improvements first.

Unlike the previous reviewer I didn't have problems reading the controls. It worked out fine and I finished the game in the first attempt. Though maybe the controls could do with some improvement, like with the difficulty in selecting exact units.

Also the music gets pretty grating once you've been playing for an hour!

I'd say there needs to be more use of the upgrades idea... more units... more actions/animations during fights, and it gets waaaay easy and dull when a bored player can just sit at the back of the battle waiting for his mage's mana to recharge and just constantly firebomb the opponents ;)

But I'm sure alot o%u25D9k what I said is in hte ideas for the sequel, I hope!!

good luck.

Of course, all intelligent suggestions and criticism will be taken into consideration. The biggest problem in BG & BG2 is certainly the usability, and that's a mistake I won't make again!
Thanks for the review
