had some emotional depth

I liked the way you carried the mood throughout the loop. I appreciate you mentioning about your software troubles. Likewise I want to upgrade but I really don't have the time or money to invest in better stuff.

The lower pitch string melodic line from 32 to 47 has something weird sounding about it to me. I think the entire piece would sound better with a little reverb and maybe a little echo on the xylophone type sound... this piece should sound like it's being played in a cathedral or cavern or something, not a small room. Also if you can look up some stuff about how to make your vocal and orchestral synths sound more realistic that would help you alot, at the moment they sound like somebody standing at a keyboard pressing keys, real strings and voices fade in and out on each note, wobble in pitch sometimes and consecutive notes never sound exactly the same.

Thank you so very much, I really do appreciate that comment!
Yep, money is the problem... =(
But that's some good advice you gave me there, i will see what i can do to the sound... thought about adding some reverb myself.

So i will try now to improve the choir articulation, the low pitch part (i believe the problem is that the wobbling of the GP5-strings is not tacted (correctly)) and the sound in general.

Thanks again =D

Also heard it on Touch the Core

This one's even better than the other Touch the Core tune imo. The DnB beat is pretty standard, if a little low quality, maybe just an issue with compression I guess, but the melodic elements in it are cool. Nice work.

Here's some feedback.

It's 4-5 minutes of nothing much happening. I wouldn't listen to this. The balance is horrible too, the bass synth completely overpowers everything and there's too much going on there at stages. I'd consider trying to add some kind of break in the piece and a more regular dubstep beat since the current one is pretty much non-existant.

Once again,
Unmastered uncompleted track.

It's a whole bunch of nothing because it's a rap beat.

When you gonna figure that out?

Doesn't quite fit

At the moment the different parts don't quite fit. The distinctive dubstep synth is just way too loud... the guitary part is too random... and high pitched bleeps don't fit with anything... and the beat is poor quality and doesn't go anywhere. Sorry.

WeDoExist responds:

Word.

Another track under the wrong genre.

The melodic lines have all the tenets of low quality trance. It's got a monotonous eruo-dance style beat that I don't like either. Definatly not techno.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

meh, I can't put it in trance, or dance, I think techno's a pretty blanket term for ALL electronic music.

Thanks for the review.

sounds more like trance

The beat is low quality, you need to find some better samples or synths. The melodic synths are pretty boring and unchanging. And I'm not a fan of the hip-hop fusion at all. I don't think this should even be in the 'Techno' genre'.

Caine1989 responds:

Okay if u say so... Thank u for review!
