It's nice but...

I got to level 33 and can't complete the game cos my f key is broken on my keyboard and the blocks can't be controlled without using that key on that level. I have to type using ascii. Anyhow the game was well thought ought I guess, even if the physics and controls were a little frustrating.

Nice but....

Nice artwork. But the repetetive music was repetetive. Okay the music sets the scene for the game, I can deal with it, but it's also a horrible recording quality with nasty buzzing the whole time that kills any emotion it may have invoked.

Also the whole game seemed like a less enjoyable rip off of the nevermore series. So thumbs down from me.

cool

Nice game man I had fun. And not tooooo long either. I hope to see more!!

kinda cool

Well like you say it's a sequel in the making, needs alot of improvements first.

Unlike the previous reviewer I didn't have problems reading the controls. It worked out fine and I finished the game in the first attempt. Though maybe the controls could do with some improvement, like with the difficulty in selecting exact units.

Also the music gets pretty grating once you've been playing for an hour!

I'd say there needs to be more use of the upgrades idea... more units... more actions/animations during fights, and it gets waaaay easy and dull when a bored player can just sit at the back of the battle waiting for his mage's mana to recharge and just constantly firebomb the opponents ;)

But I'm sure alot o%u25D9k what I said is in hte ideas for the sequel, I hope!!

good luck.

Of course, all intelligent suggestions and criticism will be taken into consideration. The biggest problem in BG & BG2 is certainly the usability, and that's a mistake I won't make again!
Thanks for the review

11 out of 10

seriously this game is so cool it deserves 11 out of 10.

I completed the storyline... all the extra battles... spent a couple of hours building a massive ship and thrashing it through the deadzone blowing up battle class units and collecting the BIG ship parts... or building the fastest ship I could and after all that I still want more!!

Roll on the sequel I say. ^^

just a couple of suggestions:
- make it so you can switch ship parts over to the mirror image instead of having a discrete left and right hand version of every piece... obviously doesn't affect the game play, but it makes my ship look prettier =)
- maybe have a way of "warping" between old safe-zones that you've already done the missions in... can get dull travelling between old hostile ground that you've already covered.
- have a zoom feature... so when the ship and parts you are using start to get big you can zoom out ;)

So awesome

My favourite madness game so far. Love the music, love the action, love everything.

I like the concept

I liked the concept of the game, even though it wasn't that original, it still had a certain charm for a flash game.

The controls need to be much more slick though, I spent far too much time scrolling around the game, even with using quick groups and the mini-map.

Also I found the AI wasn't particularly great for my own units, I had a constant stream of my own meleers being fried by my mages, and units always getting left behind in combat or engaging by themselves etc.

Also I found the balance of the units seemed to be a little disproportionate, some of the stronger units in the game are just so powerul that they make all the other units redundant.

Still I had fun playing it all the way through, and would like to see a refined sequel so not a bad score ^^

Simple, but fun

Okay it kept me occupied for 5 minutes at least.

It was pretty simplistic though. And I manged to fall out the bottom of the map and get stuck wandering somewhere below the screen...

HONOR AND GLORY!!

Nice game, you warned me it was hard so I can't complain about that!

I came unstuck on the pursuing riders level, I guess you just have to ride faster through the level to stay ahead? Anyhow I liked the graphics, and the narration, even though the game play did get a tiny bit monotonous (too much for me to try getting all the medals at least). The slowmotion action during the 'confrontations' was pretty slick.

greusome

I really got into the flow of this after a little bit. Really nice narration, very creepy, good plot, made he want to go and replay it a couple of times ^^

Aspiring to create an account in the real world one day.
